Ensuring the quality of the inlet prior to entering any water treatment system is very crucial for maintaining both the safety the health of the treatment plant. Using our ultrafiltration, softening systems and filtration chemicals, we protect the membranes by reducing suspended solids, turbidity, dissolved solids, microbial contaminants, pesticides, heavy metals and treat hardness which all tend to damage the sensitive membranes.

We offer highly reliable RO systems that treat a wide range of hard and brackish water, producing water with very low dissolved solids and which is also free from particulate, colloidal and organic matter. Designed with flexibility, the system utilizes state-of-the-art spiral wound reverse osmosis membranes to suit a given application. These systems can remove 90 – 98% of total dissolved salts.

Our systems are also capable of treating sea water containing total dissolved solids up to 42000 ppm to produce potable water or for process purposes with TDS less than 500 ppm. Such standard SWRO systems are available in capacities ranging from 100 l/h to 20 m3/h

Water is the most vital ingredient in all kidney dialysis units. Ensuring the quality of the water is nothing but perfect is the goal as the water is used to form the dialysate which then enters the patient’s blood.

INDION AKD-WP, a new developed technology within our fleet of water treatment systems, with its unique features provides ultra pure water which meets AAMI standards (Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation). The treatment process is of two stages:

• Hot Water Sanitizable Reverse Osmosis (HSRO): The process produces water with minimal/low dissolved solids which is free from particulate, colloidal and organic matter. Hot water sanitization is used for disinfecting water without use of chemicals
• Hot Water Sanitizable Ultra Filtration (HSUF): It is used for sterilization of water that separates bacteria, microorganisms and endotoxins

Different models of different sizes are available with their easy to use features such as Touch screen panel for easy and quick operation, Semi-automatic sanitizing system and Minimum space requirement with easy access for maintenance. A detailed brochure is available for download.

We offer Sewage treatment plants (STPs) and effluent recycling systems all in one packaged treatment system which are capable of treating 5m3/d – 6000 m3/d of sewage using minimal power. With the help of these ultra-filtration membrane technologies, these systems ensure the removal of all free floating and emulsified oil, grease and suspended solids making the water fit for reuse and conserve large volumes of freshwater.
Our effluent recycle solutions are integrated to yield optimal benefit. For instance, recycle systems are combined with specialty water treatment chemical programs that substantially reduce water discharge (for example, cooling tower blowdown); and state-of-the-art effluent treatment plants are integrated with zero liquid discharge processes. They are backed by comprehensive operation and maintenance services, for high performance continuity. Industries that have installed our effluent treatment, recycle and zero liquid discharge systems have gained an excellent payback on their investment through:
• Assured availability of water for process needs as well as low end uses.
• Less requirement of fresh water. Therefore, considerable savings in fresh water costs
• Additional savings through recovery of valuable by-products for re-use in process.
• Compliance with pollution control regulations and a clean environment through reduced / zero effluent discharge.
ANDICOS Waste-to-Energy system uses a novel process to convert sewage sludge along with organic kitchen waste into electrical power, rich organic fertilizer and hot water that can be reused after treatment for various high-end and low-end applications. In this state-of-the-art technology, a combination of waste is treated in an advanced bio-methanation reactor to produce bio-gas which is then harvested to produce electricity. The electrical power can be used to supplement energy needs for water utilities and sewage treatment plant to reduce the operating cost significantly. The excess heat from the process can be used to dry organic fertilizer generated in the ANDICOS process and also meet the required hygiene standards for its use in agriculture and landscaping.

Filtration chemicals

Improving water quality to desired purity levels is a constant challenge faced when developing water treatment technologies. Over the years, the global water industry has seen a significant increase in the use of membranes as a preferred means of ensuring high water quality.

Through our comprehensive research and development, we have successfully established the INDION filtration chemicals that enhances membrane system operations by preventing fouling & scaling of membranes. Some common scales and foulants may include:

• Carbonates of Calcium and Magnesium
• Sulphates of Calcium, Magnesium, Barium and Strontium
• Silicates and metal oxides
• Natural organic materials (NOM) and microbes.

The regular application of INDION filtration chemicals ensure the membrane’s high performance and hence, protecting your investment.

Specialty Chemicals

The rising demand for crude oil and resultant exploration of more crude from wells has created new challenges in its processing. Refiners worldwide are increasingly focused on the effect of these new crudes at different sections of their processing units with respect to operational as well as product specification requirements.

With state-of-the-art IDO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 manufacturing facilities, we provide world class products and solutions that can enhance refiners’ operational excellence and processing efficiency to maximize profitability

Within our vast fleet of available products, we offer a range of process chemical applications and fuel additives to suit the wide crude basket of every refiner. Our chemical solutions include:

• Desalting chemistries formulated to enhance your desalter’s performance
• Dewpoint neutralizers to help in protecting the fractionator column overhead system from aqueous corrosion by maintaining a uniform pH profile.
• High performance antifoulant treatment programs which help maximize your unit’s running time; saving a good amount of operating cost in terms of energy.
• Custom hydrocarbon recovery and in-situ crude tank cleaning programs to help you maximize both hydrocarbon recovery from crude sludge and crude tank utilization with reasonable less downtime than conventional methods.
• Pour point depressant programs to help upgrade the heavier fuel stock and improve margins in fuel.

You can find a complete list of available chemicals within the product line in the brochure available for download.

Water treatment resins

INDION ion exchange resins used for conventional water treatment applications such as softening, deionization and dealkalisation are manufactured in an automated, ISO 9001 & 14001 certified facility. Lower rinse volumes, high capacity, superior life pattern and proven track record make the INDION resins a preferred choice.

Ion Exchange also manufactures a variety of high purity ion exchange resins designed for the purification of potable water. These resins have very low organic leachables. The applications include softening, disinfection, removal of nitrate, arsenic, fluoride and iron.

Pharma Grade Resins

As the behavioral pattern of chemical compounds can be highly individualistic, the pharmaceutical industry requires products that are engineered to meet the requirements of a particular application.
